Industrial Design Thesis

Below is the book I wrote to accompany my 5th year Thesis project at Syracuse University titled “Makr”.

Makr

Tools for Ubiquitous Digital Design & 3D Printing

3D printing, as it exists today, is far too complicated of a task for the average user. If it, or any other form of rapid manufacturing technology, is going to become widely used, the usability must be considered. Makr is a product ecosystem that seeks to solve this problem. From model acquisition, to CAD modeling, to print management, Makr encompasses all of the steps in the 3D printing process to improve ease of access and bring this technology into ubiquity.

Take a look at the book below to see my research and development process for creating Makr throughout my senior year at Syracuse University’s Industrial & Interaction Design Program.
